  1. Exploration Tower (Port Canaveral): A new Exploration Tower was opened on 2013 celebrating the 60th anniversary of Port Canaveral Authority. The seven story building has a modern design and it displays a museum showing native population as well as an interactive movie in a large 2-story screen. Its observation deck in the 7th floor is the ideal place to see rocket launches.
  2. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: While the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex started early in the 1960s as a small trailer, in 1965 a 2 million dollar investment made it skyrocket in terms of a touristic attraction. Each year more than 1 million people visit the KSC visitor complex and it is now the 5th most important place to visit in all Florida. Attractions found in the KSC visitor complex include the Apollo/Saturn V Center, a museum exhibiting space related objects such as a launch vehicle and an Apollo capsule, astronaut memorials, and other exhibitions.
  3. Jetty Park: Jetty Park is located near the Atlantic Ocean and the visitor may be able to see rocket launches, cruises, submarines, and marine wildlife. Jetty Park is specially designed for camping and it has 3 different types of camping sites for the tourist to stay depending on his preferences. These are the rustic, semi, and improved sites.
  4. Manatee Sanctuary Park: The Manatee Sanctuary Park boasts an area of 10 acres and it is located in the Banana River Besides manatees, the visitor can also get to see dolphins, different kinds of fish, and beautiful birds such as the osprey and waterfowl if he walks in the large boardwalk that can be found alongside the river. Wildlife can also be perceived in the observation pier found in the boardwalk. Popular activities to do in the park are hiking, walking, biking, and having a picnic.
  5. U.S. Air Force Space & Missile Museum: Established in 1966, the U.S. Air Force Space & Missile Museum exhibits items related to space activity such as equipment, missiles, rockets, stations, and other spacecraft. The Museum is made up of the Launch Complex 26, and the Launch Complex 5/6. The Launch Complex 26 was the place in which the first satellite, known as the Explorer I, was launched successfully to space in 1958. The Launch Complex 5/6 served as the site that was used to launch the two first astronauts from the U.S. to space in 1961.
