Parking at Port Canaveral is getting more expensive. Port Canaveral commissioners today announced an increase in fees for cruise parking at the port. The new rate is $16 dollars per day for regular sized vehicles, an increase of a dollar per day over the old rate. The daily fee for oversized vehicles is increasing by $2 dollars per day to a total of $28 dollars per day.
The new rate totals up to $128 dollars for parking for a seven-day cruise (which needs 8-days of parking) for a normal sized car or truck, or $224 dollars for a larger than the average vehicle. Clearly, for Port Canaveral cruisers there has never been a better time to look for an alternative parking arrangement.
Cruisers can get free cruise parking for the duration of their cruise at a lit, monitored, and paved parking lot when you book cruise transportation through Go Port. Transportation packages start at as little as $10 dollars per person for a round trip from the lot to Port Canaveral.
