3 Things You Must do on Your Spring Break Cruise

Whether you’re a college student, teacher, or even a doctor, a Spring Break cruise has something in store for you! Below we’ve listed 3 things you must do to maximize your Spring Break cruise.

Eat!

Hot-Buffet-Line

On your cruise you’ll have the choice between eating in the main dining room, at the buffet, or at a specialty restaurant. If you opt for traditional dining, you’re stuck with a set time to eat, and dining partners you may not like. On the other hand, there are many lifelong friends that were made in a ship’s dining hall. You can always dine at the buffet if you need to eat at a different time. If you’re sailing on a line that offers flexible dining—like Norwegian—then you have the option of varying things up. You’ll lose the pleasure of having a wait staff that grows to know what you like over the course of your cruise, but you won’t have to hurry or wait for your scheduled dining time. We also suggest you dine at least once at one of the specialty restaurants on board.

Drink!

Colorful Cocktails With Umbrellas

Okay, this one’s not a MUST, but it’s Spring Break, and you’re on a cruise ship. We’re pretty sure that you’re going to tip at least a few beverages of an adult nature back. We’re obliged to remind you to drink responsibly… and for free whenever you can. On a Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian ship, go to every art auction and reception you can. On a Disney ship, take the time to go to the Captain’s cocktail party, and remember that Go Port partner hotels like the Embassy Suites, Residence Inn, and Courtyard in Lake Nona offer manager’s receptions, that also offer free drinks.

Make Merry!

Get out of your stateroom. You didn’t book a cruise for Spring Break because you like to stare at the walls or read. You booked it to get out and see the sites. Head up to the Lido Deck for a swim, or a hairy chest contest. Catch a show. Or maybe just meet some new friends to have a quiet drink with.

What MUST you do before your spring break cruise? Get a hotel package of course, it’s a form of “insurance” in case your flight gets delayed. Eliminate the hassle and worry about missing your cruise by getting a Fly Snooze Cruise package, enjoy the local attractions or just rest up before sailing out!
